Ronald Kent Fields, a former resident of Mount Shasta, California, passed away on January 4, 2012 at his son’s home in Lake Arthur, New Mexico. He was 70 years old.
Ronald was born on April 5, 1941 in Ironton, Ohio, the son of James Wesley Fields and Virginia Louise (Halley) Fields. He was a longtime California resident until moving in May 2011 to Lake Arthur.
Ronald was a master carpenter. He loved music, especially playing the guitar.
Survivors include his sons, Tracy Fields and wife Jennifer of Lake Arthur, Marty Fields and wife Diana of Lebanon, Oregon, and Jason Dodge of California; daughters, Paige Knowles and husband Richard of Holly, Oregon, Tammy Sartuche and husband Mike of Lebanon, Oregon, and DeAnna Stone and husband Richard of Aromas, California; grandchildren, Julia and Jacob Fields, Justin and Jordan Knowles, Mike Jr. and Amber Sartuche, Stephanie Carpenter, Brandon Stone, and Brandy Stone-Ellis and husband Jake; and great-grandchildren including Joel, Jovia and Mya Slover.
There are no local services scheduled at this time.
Cremation is under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.
