Shawn Kevin Dyke, a resident of Weed, passed away on July 16, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center in Mount Shasta following a short illness. He was 43.
Shawn was born in Sacramento, California on October 7, 1964. He moved to Siskiyou County from Fair Oaks, California in 1993.
Shawn was a construction worker. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and golf.
Survivors include his mother, Jean Dyke of Fair Oaks; a sister, Melinda Dyke of Fair Oaks; brothers, Daryl Dyke Jr. of Hornbrook, Fred Dyke of Fair Oaks, Eric Dyke of Glendale, Arizona, Mark Dyke of Rio Linda, Tim Germann of Harwich, Massachusetts, Jeff Dyke of Roseville, Michael Dyke of Roseville and Chris Dyke of Orangevale. He was preceded in death by his father, Daryl LeRoy Dyke.
Private services are planned.
