Lee Huffman, a former resident of Weed, California, passed away at the age of 67 on June 15, 2009 at his mother’s residence in Weed after a long battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Lee was born in Klamath Falls, Oregon on October 27, 1941 to James and Marie Huffman. The family moved to Weed in 1957 and Lee attended Weed High School.
He is survived by his daughters, Vickie Huffman of Phoenix, Arizona and Lynn Leasure of Hanford, California; mother, Marie Huffman of Weed; brothers, Jack Huffman and Alvie Huffman of Weed; sisters, Shirley Huffman-Schneider of Mount Shasta and Paula Huffman-Tucker of Weed. He has seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Lee is preceded in death by his loving wife Carol Huffman, of 47 years; and his daughter Sharon.
Lee loved his animals, garden and dabbling in the stock market. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Lee was a computer systems analyst for the state of Utah for 32 years.
A celebration of Lee’s life will be held in August.
