John Henry “Doc” Bylo was born on February 20, 1944 in Culver City, California. He came to Mount Shasta in 1973 to work in the mills.
John was a veteran of the US Army serving in Korea.
John was a bartender for 25 years. He was considered the oldest and the best in his trade. “Doc will forever retire his famous Bloody Marys.”
John loved poker, snorkeling, bass fishing, gold panning, music, jeeping, ironing with his new iron the shark, lilies, roses and his family.
He lived in the moment and he knew how to enjoy life. The love of his friends here and far were so important to him. John was one of the most kind, generous persons to know.
