William A. Palmer passed away Saturday, July 26, 2008. He was 78 years old.
He was born on August 19, 1929 to Letha and Tillson Palmer of Greenview, Scott Valley, California.
He attended school in Greenview and later moved to Crennell, California with his parents. He completed grade school there and started high school in Arcadia, California, finishing in Etna, California.
While attending college in Ashland, Oregon he worked as a produce clerk. Later he met Jane Daniels of Medford, Oregon and they married.
They had one son, Chris Palmer. Chris lives in Medford with his wife, Malinda. They have two sons, Dalton and Trenton.
Bill worked for 32 years as an inspector for the state of California at the California Agriculture Inspection Stations.
A memorial service was held Sunday, Aug. 3 at 1:30 p.m. at Girdner’s Funeral Chapel.
A luncheon was served at the Church of Christ building on West Lennox Street following the service.
