The Dunsmuir Tigers won their third game in a row Tuesday night, Feb. 16, defeating visiting Butte Valley, 59-47.
Matt Norton scored 17 points, Jake Mekeel 13 and Nate Gonzales 12 as the Tigers improved to 3-6 in league and 9-12 overall.
They’re scheduled to finish the regular season at home against Happy Camp (4-5) Friday night.
This year’s Winter Coronation king and queen are scheduled to be crowned just after the varsity boys game.
With a win Friday night, the Tigers will finish the season tied for third place with Happy Camp, behind Tulelake (9-0) and Big Valley (6-3).
Collin Lattanzio scored 4 points in Tuesday night’s win and had a team-high 11 rebounds.
Zack Shirley scored 4 points, Christian DeLeon 4, LT Hisey 3 and Jordan VanWilgen 2.
Hisey had 7 rebounds and Norton 6.
