Amber Franko scored 12 points with 12 rebounds and 8 assists as the College of the Siskiyous women’s basketball team won its home-opener over Diablo Valley Wednesday night in Weed, 75-61.
Franko was one of four Eagles to score in double figures in a game that saw the host team connect on 10 three-point shots.
Michelle Hoehn scored 17, Natalie Smith 16 and Cassidy Hammon 15.
Smith was 4 for 10 from three-point range, Hammon was 3 for 5, Franko 2 for 3, and Antoinette Aguirre 1 for 3.
Siskiyous improved its record to 9-4. The Eagles are scheduled to play two more games in Fresno Jan. 8 and 9 before their Golden Valley Conference opener against Redwoods in Eureka on Jan. 13.
