Home teams continued their winning streak Thursday in the 2017 Northern Section Fall Soccer Playoffs as No. 2 Tulelake defeated No. 3 Weed, 6-0, and No. 1 Quincy defeated No. 4 Mount Shasta, 5-2.

Shasta Cascade League champion Tulelake (14-1-2 overall) is scheduled to play Feather River League champion Quincy (20-1) for the section title Saturday, Oct. 28.

Weed ended the season with a 12-2-2 record, a second place finish in the SCL, and a first round home playoff victory.

Mount Shasta finished third in league, 12-4-2 overall, and went to overtime before winning its home playoff opener.
