Several South Siskiyou Swim Team members won medals at the Scott Valley Shark Fest this past weekend.
Coach Tami Frisbie said her team’s swimmers only received points and places for one of the days. “United States Swimming rules state that if we do not have a parent registered as a stroke and turn official on deck, then the swimmers from that team do not place and/or score,” Frisbie said.
Here are some results for South Siskiyou swimmers:
• Delaney Tognolini – 1st, 200 breaststroke and 4th, 100 free (17-18)
• Tim Jaegel – 3rd 100 back, 4th 200 breaststroke, 5th 100 fly, and 6th 100 free (17-18)
• Janelle Jaegel – 6th, 100 backstroke (15-16)
• Sydnie Frisbie – 4th, 25 butterfly (7-8)
• MiaMichelle Morris – 4th, 50 free (6-under)
• 13-over 200 Medley Relay, 5th (Nikki Roda, Janelle Jaegel, Danielle Tognolini and Delaney Tognolini).
