Forty-nine people participated in the 2010 Top of the State Walk/Run July 17 in Weed.
Craig Sewell won the five mile in 36.4 over Weed High School distance runner Tyler Moser (38.25). Sewell said he still has more training to do because he is preparing for the Ironman in Penticton, British Columbia in August.
