Poor travel conditions have caused the cancellation of Thursday night's basketball games that were tentatively scheduled to be played at College of the Siskiyous in Weed.
Originally postponed from Wednesday night, no makeup date is set yet for the Golden Valley Conference games between Butte College and COS.
The COS men's and women's teams are scheduled to play next on Wednesday, Jan. 25 at Feather River in Quincy.
Three games into their 10-game GVC schedules, both Siskiyous teams are tied for first place. In the women's standings, COS (16-2 overall and ranked No. 15 in the state) is 3-0 in conference and tied with Feather River (9-9).
The Siskiyous men (6-12 overall) are 2-1 in conference, tied with Feather River (10-9) and Shasta (6-10).
