Below is the list of projects Mountain Runners has been involved in and has funded over the last 15 to 20 years with the proceeds from the Mt Shasta July 4th Walk/Run. The list was provided by Marcia Smith of Mountain Runners, who said total donations from the Walk/Run are in the neighborhood of $400,000.
Most recently, $20,000 worth of lights were installed in trees in the 200, 300 and 400 blocks of Mt. Shasta Blvd.

In addition, Mountain Runners has enlisted the support of high school sports teams to assist with the set-up and tear down of the event and has funded their sports activities for their help.
