The story of a micro-brewery in the small northern California town of Weed and its banned bottle caps has made headlines in newspapers, on web blogs, radio stations, and brewing publications around the country in recent months, but owner Vaunne Dillmann is still waiting for a decision on his appeal of the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau’s ruling.

Weed has big plans for Carnevale weekend, July 10-13

Weed's annual Carnevale celebration features a parade, sports tournaments, the Top of the State race, music and dancing, a K9 show, carnival rides, and of course all of the food and refreshment booths and vendors.
