Dear Save the Rain supporters,
We truly want to let you know how very grateful we are for your support. Through your generosity, we are steps closer to ending the water crisis for an entire region of Tanzania.
It is because of you that we have been able to help so many African children flourish and thrive. Together, we have saved over 120,000 lives in just under three years. But there are still many more waiting for the life saving gift of clean water.
For the second year in a row, we wanted to create a win-win situation for the whole Save the Rain family.  We have been selling raffle tickets for a brand new 2009 Ford Escape Hybrid 4x4.
The winner of the car can live anywhere in the USA. The ticket sales are limited to 2,000 and are only $25 this year. The money raised from the car raffle will create a clean water supply for the children of Patandi, Tanzania as well as initiate a new rain water project for the village of Buguni, Tanzania.
When we called out for your support for our car raffle, you so generously replied. But our sales are still not where we need them to be to support our upcoming project. As of today, we still have 1,133 tickets left to sell.
Because our Dec. 1 drawing is less than a week away and we have yet to meet our goal, we hope you will understand that we need to extend our deadline.
We are going to do our best, along with your help, to sell the remainder of the tickets as fast as possible. As soon as the tickets are sold, we will inform all of the purchasers and hold the drawing. We are hoping to do this no later than Feb. 1.
Please use this opportunity for the holidays and stuff those stockings with the gift of life and a chance at a new car. Tickets can be purchased online at
We know things are tight right now but please remember that your participation will not only get you a chance at a new car, it will also save the life of a child.
We are so grateful for your support. Please know that we cannot do our work without you.
This week when we give thanks, please know we give thanks for you.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours,
The team of Save the Rain Mount Shasta
