Cindy Lee Brown-Rutter, a resident of Dunsmuir, passed away on September 12, 2010 at her home. She was 39 years old.

Cindy was born at Mercy Medical in Mount Shasta on December 22, 1970. Except for a short time in Grenada, she lived in Dunsmuir all her life.

She enjoyed camping, horseback riding and swimming, but above all, she loved being able to be home with her children.

The past 21 years, Cindy worked for Mercy Mt. Shasta and Doctors’ Park as CNA, phlebotomist and receptionist.

Survivors include her husband, Dustin Rutter; daughter, Alison Freeman; son, Evan Freeman; parents, Raymon and Sandy Brown; brother, Jerry (and Buffi) Brown; nephews, Cody and Chris Brown; and mother and father in-law, Steve and Charlene Beebe, all of Dunsmuir.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.

An account has been set up at PremierWest Bank in Dunsmuir for donations for the benefit of Cindy’s children, ages 12 and 9.
