Movie review: ‘Insidious’
"Insidious" opens with a family moving into a new house: Josh Lambert (Patrick Wilson), his wife Renai (Rose Byrne) and their three children. Eventually, freaky things take place –– books fall, boxes move, a strange voice is heard. Enter the psychic (Lin Shaye). She knows what's going on –– their son's spiritual being is in the Further, a netherworld inhabited by the dead, and it would be a good idea to rescue him. If you haven't seen "Poltergeist," see it. If you have, see "Insidious." Xerox couldn't make a better copy. Rated PG-13. -- Bob Tremblay/ MetroWest Daily News (Mass.)
