Mari T. (Zanotto) Zieour passed away peacefully, holding the hands of her husband and sons while surrounded by family, on December 10, 2011 after a long struggle with illness. She was 52 years old.

Mari was born on November 10, 1959 to Mark and Margaret (Durante) Zanotto.

She had a long professional career in health care accounting and business information systems. The last 21 years were with Catholic Healthcare West, most recently as the Director of Process Reengineering.

Mari is survived by her loving husband, David Zieour; sons, Neesan (and Randi) Zieour and Nicholas Zieour; grandson, Dominic Zieour; parents, Mark and Margaret Zanotto; sisters, Margo Zanotto and Marci (and Robert) Padovan; brother, Mark (and Robin) Zanotto; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Mari was a loved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother (Nani) and friend. She held a special place in her heart for all of those in her life.

Her favorite moments were spent in the outdoors with her beloved dog (Murphy-Brown). She enjoyed long walks to the lake to unwind, clear her mind and smell the fresh morning air.

She was a devoted mother that loved her sons and husband; they were her entire world. She brought the family together in her great big kitchen and spent the whole day cooking and baking.

Her home was always inviting with doors open to whoever wanted to visit. She was selfless, compassionate and generous with her time and love.

Mari was a woman of silent strength and grace. She lived fearlessly and touched the lives of everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her courage and love for life will forever live within us and be honored.
