Council member Leslie Wilde informed city hall this afternoon that she would be “unable to attend” tonight's meeting.

Tonight’s Dunsmuir City Council meeting has been cancelled due to a lack of quorum.

Councilmember Leslie Wilde informed city hall this afternoon that she would be “unable to attend” the meeting, which was scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., said deputy city clerk Julie Iskra.

A resolution which Wilde drafted to censure mayor Ed Steele was one of the only items on the agenda.

Because the city’s three council members will be attending a training Sept. 18-20, the third Thursday meeting this month won’t take place, said Iskra.

At this time, the next scheduled city council meeting is Oct. 3 at 6 p.m.
