Weed High School is encouraging Cougar alumni to attend Friday night’s Homecoming game against Portola, wear their green and white, and check in at the alumni table. They’ll be recognizing alumni who are present throughout the evening.

Weed High School is encouraging Cougar alumni to attend Friday night’s Homecoming game against Portola, wear their green and white, and check in at the alumni table. They’ll be recognizing alumni who are present throughout the evening.

Students are celebrating the event with dress up days, Powder Puff football, a barbecue lunch on Friday, the traditional downtown parade, a pep rally and Homecoming royalty.

Today is Animal Print Day. The Powder Puff game is tonight at 7 p.m. at the football field.

Tomorrow is Theme Day, “Salad Dressing.” Each class dresses up to represent a specific flavor of salad dressing – seniors, Thousand Island; juniors, Ranch; sophomores, Caesar; freshmen, Italian.

Friday is Green & White Day with a barbecue lunch for all students followed by a Homecoming assembly and parade through downtown at 1 p.m.

Homecoming Royalty festivities take place at approximately 6:30 p.m. during Friday night’s game. The royalty candidates are as follows:
