Great Northern Corporation, which is conducting the income and demographic survey under contract with the City, says the information received is confidential and will be used to assist the City in seeking grants.
A random confidential survey is underway in the city of Mount Shasta to gather income and demographic information from households located within the city limits.
The survey is being conducted by Great Northern Corporation under contract with the City. They are encouraging residents who receive it in the mail to return it as soon as possible.
“A high response rate is needed for the survey to be valid,” according to a press release, which further states that “all information included on the questionnaire is confidential. No specific identifying information will be kept and the questionnaires will be tallied as a group.”
Results from the survey, according to the release, “are essential to assist the City with grant-seeking for projects that will benefit our community.”
Questions about the survey may be directed to Crystal Aston at Great Northern, 530-938-4115 x126.
