Mary Ramshaw, a resident of Redding, California, passed away in her home on April 11, 2014.

Born in 1936, Mary grew up in San Diego until her family moved to Mount Shasta when she was 12 years old.

Later she married Bruce Ramshaw and they opened a Shell service station in Dunsmuir. After selling that station they started a Shell gas and service station and towing business in Mount Shasta.

Mary attended College of the Siskiyous and also acquired a realtor’s license. She later worked at various banks and became a loan officer at US Bank in Dunsmuir, from which she retired in 2003.

This vocation personified Mary’s charming and witty personality, exemplified her talent for attention to detail, customer relations and investment knowledge.

After retirement, Mary was most passionate about sunshine! To get out of the snow she moved to Redding where she enjoyed the plentiful warmth Redding provides.

Mary touched the lives of many people and anyone fortunate to get to know her sincerely fell in love with her charming personality and fun loving, witty humor.

Mary is survived by her partner, Stan McBride; her sister, Ceci Chinca; her son, Damon Ramshaw and his wife Jennifer Ramshaw; her daughter, Jana Bergeron and her husband Bryan Bergeron; and five precious grandchildren: Richard, Cory, Eryn, Carmen and Blaze; amongst nieces, nephews and their children.

Mary was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia; and her parents.

Mary was richly loved and will be missed by so many.

A private memorial service will be held in Redding for family and close friends.
