John Seitzinger passed away peacefully at home on June 14, 2014. A Celebration of

Life will be held on Sunday, June 29th at 4:00 pm at BelAir Park in Weed.

John was born in Ceres, California on December 24, 1965. He and his twin brother

Joel were welcomed by brother Robert and parents Bob and Edie. Brother Mark joined

the family three years later. John went on to attend Modesto

Christian School, and Davis High School in Modesto. He received

certificates in welding and began his career as a welder.

In 1987, John married Lorrie Harrison and they had two children,

John and Jennifer. Spending his first 38 years in the Modesto

area, John moved to McCloud in 2003, joining his mom and stepfather,

Edie and Tom Adams, and maternal grandparents, George

and Elizabeth Muma. In 2004 he met the love of his life, Georgia

Barberick. They were married in August 2011, and made their

home in Yreka.

John had a quiet air of confidence about him, and was a gentle,

kind and loving man. He was always puttering, working at something,

keeping his hands busy. He made many improvements to

the home he and Georgia bought in Yreka. He helped create a loving

home there for his stepson Phillip, and two young granddaughters,

Christine and Patience, who lived with John and Georgia this

past year. John was always so willing to help others, giving of his time and energy. He

never said no when someone needed his assistance. John was a beautiful person, inside

and out. He was predictable, dependable, generous, always loving, always kind. We love

you John, and we miss you more than words can say.

John is survived by his wife, Georgia, children John and Jennifer, stepsons Ronnie,

Sean and Phillip, and granddaughters, Christine and Patience; mother and stepfather,

Edie and Tom Adams, brothers Robert Seitzinger (and Michelle), Joel Seitzinger (and

Stephanie), Mark Seitzinger (and Barbara); step-sister Shelley Blakely (and Cliff), stepbrother

Dean Adams, step mother Judy Seitzinger; parents-in-law Maureen and George

Barberick, sisters-in-law Debbie Jackson (and Pete), Kelly Sanders, and Robin Merten,

brothers-in-law George Barberick (and Jill), and Bob Gunion; and a large extended family

that includes aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. John is predeceased by

his father Robert Seitzinger.
