Weed High School Drama, in collaboration with New Frontier Theatre Company, is presenting “Much Ado About Nothing,” directed by student Elizabeth Ebrahimy, adapted by Paul T. Nolan.

Performances are scheduled for Dec. 8 and 9 at 7 p.m. in the College of the Siskiyous Black Box Theatre in Weed. General admission is $7 or $5 for students.

“This delightful tale of the confirmed bachelor Benedick and the beautiful but sharp-tongued Beatrice involves plots and counter-plots to get them wed,” according to Ebrahimy. “Theirs is a rocky romance, but finally Beatrice sighs, ‘Ah Benedick, I will love you. I will permit you to tame my wild heart, soothe my loving hand.’”
