Beverly D. Roths passed away after 79 years of a wonderful life. She reunited with her true love on Valentine’s Day.
For over 56 years she was married to her loving husband, Robert Roths, who preceded her in death, and together they raised three children. They lived life to its fullest, loved travelling, entertaining friends and family and spending their retired years looking at their view of Mt. Shasta, CA, a long way from their beginnings in Kansas City, KS. She is survived by her loving children, Karen married to Tom Erickson (Half Moon Bay, CA), Dan Roths married to Laura (Tracy, CA) and Nancy married to Bill Newman (Grover Beach, CA), plus her beautiful grandchildren Emily, Jacob, Danielle and Shelsea. Beverly is also survived by her sister; Joyce Kay married to Maurice Meyer, residing in Basehor, KS.
As a born politician she lived to serve her country. Beverly was one of the first elected female councilwomen in the state of Missouri from 1968-1972 and was the North County Chamber of Commerce director from 1976-1986. Beverly’s life was full of accomplishments and assisted in creating community centers in Florissant, MO.; a community park, medical center and originated the Christmas Sing-a-Long in Lake Shastina, CA. Beverly also helped get the Antelope Valley Park Reserve become a California State Park and served as park president.
Her legacy will live on through many generations who will enjoy the differences that she made.
A celebration of Beverly’s life will be held on March 7th, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Mt. Shasta, CA. Mass will begin at 10:00 am with a reception following.
