Andrew Jackson Miller, a resident of Weed, California, passed away on May 9, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center in Redding, California. He was 92 years old.

Andrew was born on July 9, 1922 in Springfield, Arkansas. He moved to Siskiyou County in 1946 from Bayton, Texas.

Andrew was a veteran of the US Army serving during World War II. He worked as a carpenter in building bridges.

Andrew was a member of Siskiyou Masonic Lodge No. 297; and Dudes and Daisies Square Dance Club, both of Mount Shasta. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodcutting.

Survivors include his sons, Carlyn Miller of Dunsmuir, California and David R. Miller of Central Point, Oregon; a sister, Bronnie Coffee of Albuquerque, New Mexico; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous great, great-grandchildren.

Andrew was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Miller.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 15 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Shasta Memorial Park in Mount Shasta, with Pastor Ray Horst officiating.

Arrangements are in the care of Mt. Shasta Memorial Chapel.
