A three-day 2015 Fourth of July celebration begins July 2 and 3 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. with an Artisan Market & Street Faire on Mt. Shasta Blvd. and vendors on Castle Street.

Mount Shasta’s three-day 2015 Fourth of July celebration begins July 2 and 3 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. with an Artisan Market & Street Faire on Mt. Shasta Blvd. and vendors on Castle Street.

Thursday’s live entertainment on Castle Street will feature Victor Mason from noon to 2 p.m., Jimmy Limo from 2:30 to 4 p.m. and the Ron Lovelace Band from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Victor Mason will also open Friday’s live entertainment from noon to 2 p.m., followed by Allison and Victor from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

The new Mount Shasta Chamber of Commerce Downtown Mixer & Street Party is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, featuring The Highlife Band and Tubaluba, two bands from Seattle, Wash.

Registration for the July 4th Fun Walk/Run will be ongoing from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Armory on Everitt Memorial Highway.

8:30 am - Noon -- Mountain Runners Walk/Run, Castle Street starting line

Noon -- Annual Parade: “Community - Honoring the First Responders of the Boles Creek Fire.” Starts at Mt. Shasta Blvd./McCloud Rd. (Lai Lai Restaurant) and ends at Ivy and Mt. Shasta Blvd. (Lalo’s Restaurant). Grand Marshal - Leif Voeltz. Citizen of the Year - Eric Dyck.
