A service for Stephen Mark Fischer of Dunsmuir will be held at the Mt. Shasta Memorial Chapel in Mount Shasta on Saturday, July 25 at 1 p.m. He passed away at age 58 on July 8, 2015 in Mount Shasta after a prolonged struggle with health issues.

A service will be held at the Mt. Shasta Memorial Chapel in Mount Shasta on Saturday, July 25 at 1 p.m.
Steve was born in Ellensburg, Washington on September 26, 1956. He graduated from Thorp High School in Thorp, Washington.
Steve worked in the family trucking business until 1995; he then moved to Mount Shasta to work with his brother at Fischer’s Siskiyou Backhoe & Septic Service, where he worked for 19 years.
Steve was dedicated and always there when needed, quick to provide a smile and eager to help. Steve enjoyed fishing, gold mining and riding his Harley.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Adeline Fischer; and brother, Joesph C. Fischer of Ellensburg, Washington.
Steve is survived by his daughters: Misty M. Fischer, Christy M. Wichers of Ellensburg, Washington, and Mrs. Stevie Hall of Moses Lake, Washington; sons: Paul Joshua Fischer of Yreka, Justin Lee Fischer of Anderson, and Dante Michael Fischer; his grandson of Anderson; sister, Pat Brown Webber of Birch Bay, Washington; brothers: Jerome Fischer of Redmond, Washington, Charles “Roger” Fischer of Ellensburg, Washington, Jerrold Fischer of Chico, California, and Greg Fischer of Edmonds, Washington; and other family and friends.
Steve will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in Ellensburg with his parents and other family members.
The family wishes to thank Steve’s many good friends who have assisted in this difficult time.
