The Montague Balloon Fair continues through Sunday. Photos in this post were taken Friday, Sept. 23, by Marilyn Lemmon. The balloon being inflated is the Coldwell Banker balloon.

Celebrating its 18th year, the Montague Hot Air Balloon Fair is a free event providing family fun for all ages. The Rotary Club of Shasta Valley presents the Fair, with proceeds going to local community groups.

The Fair continues at the Montague Industrial Park in Montague with the Saturday night BBQ catered by Bowman Catering with music by Rusty Miller and Friends. A morning flight Sunday, Sept. 25, will start about 6:30 a.m. Coffee and donuts are provided by the local AAWU, and a full breakfast is sponsored by the local Elks.

The field is located off W. Webb St. Public parking is available at the west end of W. Scobie St. off State Highway 3 (11th Street) and is provided by the YMCA. Parking is free, but donations are accepted.
