County clerk Colleen Setzer said on Friday that her office has approximately 358 provisional ballots from throughout the county left to process, and she expects to finalize the count Monday, Nov. 21.

The most recent Nov. 8 election update released by the Siskiyou County Clerk’s office shows Measure B in Lake Shastina just a couple votes above the two-thirds majority required for approval of a special tax.

County clerk Colleen Setzer said on Friday that her office has approximately 358 provisional ballots from throughout the county left to process, and she expects to finalize the count Monday, Nov. 21.

As more votes have been counted this week, Measure B’s approval percentage has fallen while incumbent Bruce Deutsch gained some ground on Dylan Lennan in the race for the second of two Dunsmuir City Council full term seats. Deutsch led by just two votes as of Tuesday of this week, but he is ahead by 12 on the latest report, 367 to 355. Incumbent Dave Keisler has 405 votes.

Updated on Nov. 17, election report #8 shows 20,880 ballots counted out of 27,622 registered voters in the county. If 358 more than that voted, it would represent an election turnout of just under 77 percent. Setzer said the Siskiyou County election turnout for the previous three presidential elections was: 78 percent in 2012, 81 percent in 2008, and 79 percent in 2004.

Below is a list of the most recent election update for southern Siskiyou County and countywide elections.
