NWS warns of “extremely hazardous” travel conditions along Interstate 5 and Highway 89 and the possibility of falling trees and downed power lines because of the wet snow.

Locations include high terrain of western Siskiyou County including State Highway 3 over Scott Mountain Summit and portions of Sawyers Bar Road between Etna and Somes Bar.
