It’s about par for the course this winter in the Mt. Shasta area that as one Winter Storm Warning is ending another has been issued by the National Weather Service.

Forecasts are calling for accumulations of 1 to 2 feet of snow from 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Locations include Mount Shasta and McCloud; Interstate 5 and Hwy 89.

As in the Warning that was to end at 4 p.m. Friday, NWS says the high snowfall rates and heavy snow may created difficult travel conditions and could cause snapped tree limbs and downed power lines.
