The City Council of the City of Weed will hold a special meeting on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 550 Main Street, Weed, CA to consider setting goals to provide direction for limited financial and staff resource allocation into the next two year budget cycle.

Notice is also hereby given that the City Council of the City of Weed has scheduled public hearings for Thursday, March 9, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 550 Main Street, Weed, CA as follows:

1. Nuisance abatement: The property owner(s) and/or tenant(s) have been cited for failure to abate a public nuisance. The city council shall hear the testimony of persons who may desire to testify respecting the nuisance, the estimated cost of abating the same and any other matter which the city council may deem pertinent thereto, and then may declare a conclusion. The decision of the council shall be final and conclusive.

A. 615 S. Weed Boulevard.

B. 1886 Shastina Drive.

2. The City Council is also expected to discuss fencing materials.

The meetings shall be open to the public and all persons interested shall be given an opportunity to be heard.

Please contact City Hall on the day before the scheduled meeting to confirm that the item will be heard on that date. If you challenge the matter in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public meeting described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Manager at, or prior to, the meeting.

All interested persons are invited to attend and have the right to be heard on this and any other agenda item.
