Harold Jacobs, a resident of Mount Shasta, California, passed away on February 27, 2017 at his home. He was 98 years old.

Harold was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 1, 1918. He moved to Siskiyou County 33 years ago.

Harold was a veteran of the US Army, serving during World War II. He was a member of the Mount Shasta Elks Lodge No. 2333.

Harold owned an advertising business; and enjoyed real estate investments, and playing bridge.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Jacobs of Mount Shasta; sons, Neil Jacobs of Mount Shasta and Bruce A. Jacobs of Valencia; daughter, Lori Caldwell of Dana Point; sister, Carol Juchnewicj of Redding; eight grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Private services will be held at a later date. Burial is at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California.
