Anam Thubten, founder and spiritual advisor of Dharmata Foundation will return to Mount Shasta on March 30 for his second talk at the Shasta Yoga Institute.
Thubten teaches widely in the U.S. and abroad according to a Shasta Yoga Institute press release.
Through the essential wisdom of Buddhism and his personal experience on the spiritual path, Anam Thubten brings alive the timeless teachings of the Dharma as the path of love and wisdom and invites everyone to participate.
According to the release Thubten grew up in Tibet and at an early age began to practice in the Nyingma tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. Among his many teachers, his most formative guides were Lama Tsurlo, Khenpo Chopel, and Lama Garwang.
Thubten is also the author of various articles and books written in both the Tibetan and English languages.
His books in English include his newest published book, which will be available at the evening talk, Embracing Each Moment. Other books include Magic of Awareness and No Self, No Problem.
