Christina Aguilera passed away on April 19, 2017. She was born on March 14, 1929, in Hotlum, California.

Mrs. Aguilera was a lifetime Siskiyou County resident. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louie Aguilera, in 2008. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Peter Rodriguez, and sisters Juanita Alvarado, Eileen Aguilera Somers, and Brigida Hendrix. She is survived by sisters Carmel Sanden, Mary Rodriguez, and Virginia Hall.

She is survived by her children, Andrew (Holly) Aguilera, of Dunsmuir; Rebecca Schofield of Anderson; and Susan (Pablo) Herrera, of Chico. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, and is survived by six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Aguilera was a member of the St. John's Catholic Church Choir, the Altar Society, the Lady Trainmen, and the Mother Singers. She was an avid bowler, and member of her local bowling league in Weed, California.

A Rosary is scheduled for Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at 10:15 at St. John's Catholic Church, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00, and burial at Mount Shasta Memorial Park thereafter. Mount Shasta Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Altar Society and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
