The Planning Commission of the City of Weed will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 550 Main Street, Weed, CA 96094, to consider the following:
1) Zoning code text amendment: The Planning Commission is considering recommending amendment of zoning code to clarify the definition of “Building Site” at 18.08.090 18.08.090 - Building site. (currently: “Building site” means a lot or parcel of land, in single or joint ownership, and occupied or to be occupied by a main building and accessory buildings, or by a dwelling group and its accessory buildings, together with such open spaces as are required by the terms of this title and having its principal frontage on a street, road, highway or waterway).
The Planning Commission will also consider option to require a private access easement as principle access to a parcel or building site.
The amendment(s) is expected to be found exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to Section 15061 of the CEQA Guidelines.
All interested persons are invited to attend and have the right to be heard on this and any other agenda item.
