The Planning Commission of the City of Weed will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. in the Chambers at City Hall, 550 Main Street, Weed, CA 96094, to consider the following:

Project is a Variance pursuant to Chapter 18.32 of the Municipal Code at 737 Stringtown Avenue, APN 060-083-020. Owners are seeking a variance to construct a 14’ x 24’ garage, which would not meet the setback requirements for the R-1 Zone. †The placement of the garage is proposed to be three (3) feet from the side yard and less than one (1) foot from the rear property line fronting Rome Avenue.

The project is expected to be found exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15303 (c) of the CEQA Guidelines; New Construction of an accessory building.
