Nineteen members of Weed High School’s graduating class of 1958 got together for a 60th reunion Aug. 11 at Lake Shastina Resort.
In all, 32 people attended, including spouses, two widows of classmates, and former WHS vice principal Gino Michelon and his wife Marie, according to John Patella.
He said one came from Baha, a couple came from Oregon, and others came from the San Francisco Bay Area and the Sacramento area.
The reunion was the first in 10 years for the Class of ’58, and Patella said the turnout was good. He said 52 students graduated with the class and 21 have passed away.
“Lake Shastina did a great job,” Patella said. “The food was great, the service was great, and they were very accommodating.”
