The proposed Measure V assessment for our local parks would cost $6.25 a month for developed parcels. I spend that much every time I get a coffee and pastry in town, and 2-3 times that much when I grab lunch!

The proposed assessment is such a minor cost for such a huge boost to our chronically under funded and deteriorating parks. Improving our parks will not only benefit local residents, it will also incrementally add to property values. Just look at Ashland as a great example.

It’s hard to imagine anyone opposing this assessment, especially those in the real estate business. I give away thousands of dollars in professional services every year to parks and trails in our local area, and have been doing so for over 30 years. Please help me and all of the others who give so generously to our community by supporting this very modest assessment.
