The deadline for receiving applications for the names of veterans to be placed on the Hot LZ Memorial Wall for the Memorial Day service is Friday, April 24.

The Memorial Day Ceremony at the Living Memorial Sculpture Garden will take place on Sunday, May 26, at 2 p.m. This is the day on which the new names of honorably discharged veterans that have been received will be read and dedicated to the Hot LZ Wall.

The deadline for receiving applications for the names of veterans to be placed on the Hot LZ Memorial Wall for the Memorial Day service is Friday, April 24.

The ceremony will be honored, again, by members of the Jefferson Bagpipers, the Marine Corps League, Siskiyou Detachment 936. There will be a speaker, special music, an invocation, and benediction. John Kessler will play Taps. The names of the veterans will be read and dedicated, according to a press release from organizers.

The LMSG is approximately 13 miles north of Weed on US Highway 97.

Vehicle parking is available at the outer perimeters of the parking lot. Please bring your own chairs for seating which is in front of and at the sides of the Hot LZ Memorial Wall. Porta-a-Potties will be provided for all, including for the handicapped.

Keep all animals on a short leash for the safety of all including the animals.

The LMSG Memorial Day program will proceed regardless of weather, which has be very unusual this winter and spring.
