The Knights of Columbus, a fraternal organization associated with the Catholic Church, is proud to award two of three scholarships to twin brothers Kole and Kaden Riccomini who attended Mount Shasta High School and were members of St. Anthony’s Parish.

The Knights of Columbus, a fraternal organization associated with the Catholic Church, is proud to award two of three scholarships to twin brothers Kole and Kaden Riccomini who attended Mount Shasta High School and were members of St. Anthony’s Parish.

Kaden will be attending UC Davis on a baseball scholarship and Kole will be attending Butte College on a basketball scholarship.

The third scholarship was awarded to Marco Luquin, a student at Yreka High School and was a member of Holy Family Parish in Weed. Luquin will be continuing his education in San Diego.

Each year a possible four scholarships (one each) are awarded to graduating students going on to college and who are members of either Holy Family Parish in Weed, St. Anthony’s Parish in Mount Shasta, St. John the Evangelist Parish in Dunsmuir or St. Joseph’s Parish in McCloud.

The Knights of Columbus was formed in 1882 to help widows and orphans at the loss of their breadwinner and has evolved worldwide to assist in disasters and support events in their local communities.
