Dunsmuir Hardware store owner Ron McCloud and Friends of the Dunsmuir Library board member Tammy Cutting display a small portion of the nearly 200 copies of the Dunsmuir Centennial Book that were recently found stowed away in the basement of the city's Fire Hall. They are now on sale at the hardware store and the library as a fundraiser for the library. Asking price is a $25 donation; the book was originally priced at $40. The book, chock full of historic photos and histories of notable Dunsmuir families, was published as part of a three-month long celebration, held in 1986, of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the old railroad town.
