Jamey Lynn Gregoire, age 31, was seen making a left turn without using a turn signal and when a Mount Shasta Police Department officer attempted to pull her over at approximately 9:40 a.m., she refused to pull over.

A McCloud woman was arrested and charged Sunday with felony evasion after leading law enforcement on a chase on Interstate 5 at speeds exceeding 120 miles per hour.

Jamey Lynn Gregoire, age 31, was seen making a left turn without using a turn signal and when a Mount Shasta Police Department officer attempted to pull her over at approximately 9:40 a.m., she refused to pull over.

This is the second time Gregoire is accused of leading police on high speed chases; on Sept. 20, the same officer called off a pursuit due to unsafe speeds while driving through town, the MSPD said in a press release.

At that time, a case was filed with the District Attorney requesting a warrant.

In Sunday’s incident, the MSPD officer pursued Gregoire onto I-5 and with the assistance of the California Highway Patrol, a spike strip was deployed near Louie Road.

Gregoire’s vehicle was disabled, and she was booked into Siskiyou County Jail, MSPD reported.
