“This event works every year because people care,” said organizer Dawn Fazende. “In Siskiyou County we care about our neighbors and friends, we care about those who might need a little help, we care about the quality of life in our area, not just for ourselves but for everyone around us. We are willing to spend our time, offer our skills, make the effort and give the money to make a community meal like this memorable. This truly is the meaning of Thanksgiving.”
Checks payable to Thanksgiving Meal can be sent to: Thanksgiving Meal, PO Box 443 Mt. Shasta, CA 96067. Cash can be dropped off to Fazende by calling (530) 926-1762. Deposits can also be made directly to the Thanksgiving Meal by going to Chase Bank.
