Tri Counties Bank presented a $2,000 donation to Siskiyou Habitat for Humanity on Monday, Dec. 16. Tri Counties has donated to the nonprofit several times in recent years. The monies are helping the local Habitat chapter to rebuild homes in Weed that were destroyed by the Boles Fire in 2014.

Siskiyou Habitat for Humanity volunteers are currently working on their fifth Boles Fire home rebuild, which is for the Williams’ family, said Siskiyou Habitat for Humanity Executive Director Pat Vela.

The groundbreaking for the Williams’ new home took place in April and Vela said he hopes the house will be completed by 2020.
