Thank you Douglas Hogin for writing about the CVS takeover of Owens. I too had great problem with them. I was depending on mail delivery for my meds that was not honored so I wrote four letters to Medicare, California Department of Pharmacy, U.S. Health and Human Services (an agency given in Part D paperwork) and CVS Corporate.
Seniors should not be left without medicine, without notice and customers should not stream out of a business in disgust.
What CVS has done, I feel, should be criminal. I told the above agencies the same things. The address of CVS Corporate is: One CVS Drive, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, 02895. I addressed that letter to the President or CEP.
It is terrible to feel powerless against a giant corporation. I asked for sanctions, fines or serious supervision. Not that it would happen. I do know that we the people should only shop where we are treated like human beings.
