To sponsor an art show for SAM’s 2020 season, pick one from the list that appeals to your interest in the show theme or the scheduled artists. SAM does not charge artists to have their art shows in their galleries. They are also not required to join as SAM artist members, although many do so they can also sell art in the gift shop. Sponsorships help fund the ever rising costs of promotion, installation, and the opening reception, SAM said in a press release. In October, Dunsmuir’s Peter Arth will be sponsoring a new Open Call show entitled, “Let Freedom Ring.”

SAM hosts a new opening reception on the second Saturday of each month (February through December) from 5 to 7 p.m. For details, visit www.siskiyouartsmuseum.org or call (530) 235-4711.
