Karley Buhl, Vice-President Area Manager at Mechanics Bank in Mount Shasta, presented a check to Mt. Shasta Sisson Museum for support of Siskiyou Science Festival, which will last for more than two weeks, May 2 through 17. This festival is an annual celebration of the marvels of science in Siskiyou County.

When asked why they have become a sponsor, Buhl explained, “Mechanics Bank is proud to be a community partner and sponsor for events that enrich the communities in which we serve. We take pride in creating partnerships that drive growth and value within Siskiyou County. We are delighted to be a continued sponsor for the Siskiyou Science Festival, as it is a wonderful, educational event that can be enjoyed by all who attend.”

Siskiyou Science Festival will last 16 days, May 2 to 17. According to Jean Nels the museum’s Executive Director, “We are very grateful for sponsorship donations like this, as they help make all the events free. We have many events already scheduled including presentations, performances, school activity days, tours, and an All-Day Sci-Fest on Saturday, May 16.”
