With their music recently taking them to Mazatlan, Mexico and Arizona, their sound carries a positive, inclusive message that blends roots music, original songs, bossa nova and jazz standards laced with some French lyrics, according to a press release about the event.

On Saturday, Feb. 15, starting at 7 p.m. Pops Performing Arts and Cultural Center will present a special Valentine’s Show. Allison and Victor + The Midnight Band will perform a concert to benefit the completion of their up and coming CD.

Saxophonist Victor Martin will take the stage alongside singer/composer/guitarist Allison Scull. Keyboardist Stefan Schittko, bassist Bruce Calin and drummer Patrick Wiseman will also add to Allison and Victor’s sound for this special show.

According to Martin, “We are two-thirds of the way to completing our project. We are raising more money to complete the project. It is always a great night of music when you get to play with these players and we look forward to seeing you.”

Pops Performing Arts and Cultural Center is located at 5819 Sacramento Ave, Dunsmuir.
