On Sunday, I went to see “Voices of the Golden Ghosts” at the Sons of Italy Hall in Weed, thinking that it would be fun to see and learn more about the metrics of gold mining. I was surprised to find out more about the measures of humanity.

The event was a great cross section of our regional communities and it was nice to see many people that I’ve known decades, a wonderful stage production, active and inspired with spirit and depth.

This was a quality presentation that could entertain a broad age group and large crowds and I wondered why it wasn’t booked at College of the Siskiyous Theater. Nonetheless I was very impressed.
